Entrepreneurship in 60 Seconds: Tucker Max

Entrepreneurship is ultimately about selling things to people that they want. What you need to do is figure out what it is that people don’t have but they want, or what problem they have. Then either solve the problem and find a way to charge them for it, or create something that gives them what they want.

The quickest and best way to do it right now is to figure out how to use technology to reduce the distance between what people want and what they don’t have.

That’s what I did with Book In A Box, and it works spectacularly. It used to take a thousand hours to write a book, and we’ve reduced it down to about twelve hours on the phone with us.
